![]() | Museum Precinct - Tower Street The Electrical & Pastoral Machinery Shed is built on the site of the original Sons of Gwalia electrical shed and houses objects such as the Rushton engine that generated power for Leonora and Gwalia until 1975. Machinery relating to the region’s pastoral industry and the “Mum and Dad” shearing plant used on Braemore Station is also on display, along with the newly renovated mail truck that was a lifeline for families living on isolated sheep stations. |
